Prohibited Items
While we’re proud to recycle a wide range of metals and materials, certain items are prohibited due to safety concerns, environmental regulations, or legal restrictions. To keep our team and customers safe — and to comply with Oklahoma state laws — please review the list of materials we cannot accept before visiting and avoid a deduction in your payment.

Common prohibited items include but not limited to:
No Hazardous Materials

Paint, chemicals, oils, or flammable liquids

Asbestos or contaminated scrap
No Pressurized Containers

Propane tanks

Fire extinguishers, aerosol cans
No Radioactive or Medical Waste

Biohazard items

X-ray film, syringes, medical equipment
No Sealed Drums or Tanks

Any container that hasn’t been cut open and cleaned
No Stolen Property or Items with Ownership Risk

Shopping carts
-
Utility company property (cable wire, street signs, etc.)

Manhole covers, guardrails, or public property
Why Are These Items Restricted?
